AnkiClip is designed to stay out of your reading flow. After basic setup, select text in a browser, PDF, document, or note, press the shortcut, review the cards, and save them to Anki.

macOS

AnkiClip is a native macOS menu bar utility built around global shortcuts and a lightweight floating review window.

Anki

The app is for people who already use Anki and want to turn reading material into reviewable cards without rebuilding their setup.

AnkiConnect

Saving cards to Anki depends on the local Anki app and AnkiConnect. The release page will include setup and verification steps when the public build is ready.

AI provider

Configure your own AI provider in the app before generating cards. AnkiClip does not host your API key or learning content.

Feedback channel

The public feedback channel is still being prepared. Before release, use the download page to check the current availability status.
